strengthquest & pc day!

hrm.. today has been the most fruitful day since last saturday (when we started participating in that STUPID NYEC).. seriously.. argh.. i shall not blog about it.. so pissed with that ass... NEVER MIND.. anyways today was the workshop for our strengthquest.. for those of you who don't know what strengthquest is.. basically its a programme where they show you what qualities/strengths you have and how to develop it.. this programme is different from other personality test as it does not show you your weakness, but only strengths. their rationale is the fact that you can go furthest when you emphasize and develop on your strengths, rather than working on your many many weaknesses.. an analogy will be the fact that it is easier to ask you to develop what is already in you rather than trying to force you to develop what you do not have in you.. yup.. so from the workshop i basically find out how the strengths can actually be interplayed with one another, and realize what i had in me: responsibility - community - relator - restorative - arranger. yup.. and i now know how to work among these 5 strengths to actually further my potential =) thank you to ms. norsheha, ms. kwan, mr. lim and mr. heng for the workshop! i'm sure the other 32nd councillors also benefited a lot from this workshop.. yup

next up is pc day! (although before this some of the 32nd councillors had a meeting with mr. tong, but shall not talk about it lar.. haha).. basically, we planned some amazing race cum hide-and-seek in esplanade, complete with a kidnapping scenario, for the seniors.. and unfortunately, cadence is chosen to be the victim.. sorry cadence! haha.. hrm.. some of the activities were quite lame, but i hope the seniors could bear with it.. ya.. anyway after that we went for dinner and icecream! and we had mini gossiping and talking crap session.. haha THANKS TO ALL PC FOR THE DAY!! IT WAS VERY ENJOYABLE =)

to the senior PCs: hope you guys and gals enjoyed the day, but honestly i felt bad for the fact that you guys and gals expected like bowling/pool/movies.. ya.. hrm.. instead making you all tired with all the activities.. i hope the dinner and dessert could compensate that.. haha.. sorry!

ziko: hi zik.. i have worked with you during scip as your direct junior. although we didn't really communicate much, but i thought we share the same sentiment and felt bad that we slack a lot during scip.. haha.. BUT i still gotta thank you for all the small small little things that you share with me along the way, making me more confident each day of being the vice pres for scip.. yup.. although you are not my direct senior now, you are still my senior all the same.. =) thank you!

kang yu: hi kang yu.. lol the guy who always go to one corner suddenly and starts to "emo".. haha i have to thank you for that little "lesson" that you shared with me during the scip jts.. i gained a lot of perspective of council and leadership from those things that you shared with me.. although i may not agree to everything that you say, i do agree to most things that you said.. yup.. and you remind me of my old self, where i didn't use to think so much.. haha..

ming jin: hi mj.. hrm.. you are probably the pc senior that i worked with the least, yet i need to thank you for your time off whenever i ask you details about your project, before i chose my project.. yup.. i did consider your project and staff day, but i felt safer with staff day as i have done it before and anyway the rest didn't wanna do staff day.. yup.. and i also learn quite a few things from your action plan for mardi gras, where you do it in one paper for all the 4 different locations.. so ya.. these are the little little things that i have learnt from you =)

cadence: hi cadence! haha, you are my direct senior, the best for the last! (haha.. dun be too offended hor other pcs =)) thank you for wanting to share with me a lot about staff day.. although i may not be the best available junior that you can get, i will work hard to make you proud! =).. i have learnt quite a lot from you for the fact that i was attached during mardi gras to you.. i saw the way you communicate with the performers, student helpers, tutors-in-charge, and the av crew.. these are really the people skills that i will need during my term as a project coordinator, and i hope i can learn more from you.. haha.. yup =D
